When do laiki markets open and close?

A laiki is a morning market almost everywhere in Greece. Of the 599 markets on Laikimap, 537 have hours from an official source; the most common are 07:30 to 15:30 in Attica, 07:00 to 14:30 in Thessaloniki, and 07:30 to 14:30 in Patras and several other cities.

Attica
258 of Attica's 283 markets keep the registry's 07:30 to 15:30. The exceptions are the organic markets, most of which run from 14:00 to 18:00. Organic markets in Attica.
Other cities
In Patras all 20 markets are listed from 07:30 to 14:30, as are Kilkis's 14 and seven of Heraklion's eight. Chalkida's nine markets run from 07:00 to 13:30. In Thessaloniki the markets' regulation (ΦΕΚ 6379/Β΄/2024) sets selling hours of 07:00 to 14:30, which apply to 84 of the 85 markets; the afternoon market on Kotta Roulia runs from 12:00 to 18:00.
Where the hours are only typical
For 62 markets — among them all 17 in Larissa and all 12 in Volos — no official hours are published. Laikimap shows the usual 07:30 to 15:30 for them and marks the hours as typical, so a market's page always says which of the two it is.
