Laikimap is a free map of farmers' markets (λαϊκές αγορές) in Greece: the day, the street, and the municipality, on one page.
What it is
Each neighbourhood market runs on a fixed weekday, usually on the same street, from early morning until early afternoon. The schedules are published, but they are scattered across registries and municipal pages. Laikimap puts them on a map so you can see what is on today.
Who makes it
Laikimap is an independent project built and maintained by a single developer. It has no staff, no sponsors and no connection to any market organiser. Questions and corrections reach the developer directly at support@laikimap.online.
What it covers
599 weekly markets in 50 cities and 127 municipalities. Attica is complete: every market in the Authority's registry, with the street rotation that the producers' federation publishes. Elsewhere a city's list is as complete as its published sources; where markets are known to be missing, the city page says so.
Sources
Attica schedules come from the Farmers' Markets Authority of the Region of Attica (foreaslaikon.gov.gr) and from laikesagores.gr, the producers' federation. Other cities come from the municipality's own notices. Every market page names its source. We do not invent a market, a street, or a day.
How it is updated
The Attica registry and the federation's schedules are read again and the site is rebuilt from them; street rotations switch on their published dates by themselves. For other cities the schedules come from municipal decisions and notices, and are checked when a new period is announced. Every market page shows when its source was last checked and when its details last changed.
Corrections
If a street, a day or the hours are wrong, write to support@laikimap.online with the market's page and, if you can, the notice that shows the right information. A correction is made only when a source confirms it, and that source is then shown on the page.
Independence
Laikimap is not affiliated with the Authority, the Region, any municipality, or any vendors' association. We do not sell listings or promote stalls. The site is funded by advertising from Google AdSense.
